I had a Miscarriage.

For nearly 12 months I was afraid to even write this post. Now I know more people suffer from this than just me and just like I felt alone I am sure they do too. We are not. 1 year ago today I went into surgery. I came out 4 fibroids lighter. One fibroid was the size of a grapefruit and shifting my entire pelvis. I'd heard that size from several doctors...trust me I got 4 "second opinions." So  there  it was obstructing my uterus and preparing to change our lives forever. I couldn't "NOT" see what was causing all of my problems so during my surgery I had my specialist take pictures of the removed fibroids. I still have the picture.  Prior to November 17, 2016, surgery day, fibroids rocked our world and took us down a path that we’d never been, never  expected, but I always feared . You see, in the back of my mind I always feared I would be the one to go to school, work towards success, and later be unable to conceive.  I was wrong. It's All Good...Until it Ain't...

So, this means I am off to a good start…twice in one week. Haha! So, the last blog post was a cliffhanger, right? LOL It gave you just enough for me to decide what’s next. After writing that post I thought, “where do I go from here?” But I figured it out…so here goes!   All of my 28 years, 10 months and 25 days I have felt and probably been bigger than the average person or what society says is “normal”. My weight fluctuates often I have been a size 5 and I have been a size 16. At this point in my life I am the biggest I have ever been. If you have seen me lately then you know I am a little “THICKUMS” LOL. Over the last year I have told myself “start getting in shape, workout more, eat less, eat better, yadda yadda yadda.” I have started diets and stopped them no sooner than 1 week into it. Part of Life is Living

Hey Ya'll!!!  I know I have been missing in action for a few weeks but I have been on the go for the last few weeks. I had a craaaazy couple of weeks at work and when things finally settled down I was in travel mode. 2 weeks ago I traveled to see a friend in Arizona, which is a gorgeous place by the way, I will share pictures of that later.  AND, this past weekend I was in Mississippi seeing family and preparing for my upcoming 10 year class reunion...YES, 10 YEAR!!! (OMG)...But anywhoo... Today I wanted to share some things I have been feeling as it relates to LIFE and LIVING LIFE!! I am no expert...just a Social Worker, Mental Health Professional, and Therapist. LOL   So, earlier in the week I was riding in my car and my past came flashing before my eyes...All of these things I said I wanted to do as a child was running through my head.
