My First Blog!!!!!!

Hey Ya'll!!! (Obviously I am from the south! LOL)

I was born and raised in Mississippi but I now live in the lovely state of TEXAS!!!!!

I am very excited about starting this blog thing. I have always wanted to get into it but I have gone back and forth about what I will actually BLOG ABOUT! So this week I decided to just go for it! If someone reads it that's great and if no one reads it that's fine too!

Today is really just a quick intro so that I can get an idea of how this works and what my blog actually looks like. I am trying to do this, prepare dinner, and prepare for work tomorrow...so I am sure you know how busy I am.

But, to give you an idea of what COCOTIQUE is I will go into a little background information about the box. COCOTIQUE is a monthly subscription box and it is very inexpensive. I had a Miscarriage.

For nearly 12 months I was afraid to even write this post. Now I know more people suffer from this than just me and just like I felt alone I am sure they do too. We are not. 1 year ago today I went into surgery. I came out 4 fibroids lighter. One fibroid was the size of a grapefruit and shifting my entire pelvis. I'd heard that size from several doctors...trust me I got 4 "second opinions." So  there  it was obstructing my uterus and preparing to change our lives forever. I couldn't "NOT" see what was causing all of my problems so during my surgery I had my specialist take pictures of the removed fibroids. Black Girl in a Country World

  If it’s your first time here welcome to my blog and if you’ve been here before, welcome back!     If you’ve been on social media at all then you’re aware that Beyonce is releasing a country music album and 2 tracks dropped last week. Now, if you truly know me then you know how I feel about both Bey AND country music. You’ve probably heard me singing and blasting country music on the daily in my home or my car.   I’ll start with my love story and history with country music. I’m a black girl from central Mississippi and I’ve loved country music since I could understand and build a relationship with music for myself. My mom loved blues music so that was my very first introduction to music and don’t get me wrong I still love me some blues music but as soon as I started to develop my own identity, country music stole my heart.    I remember around age 9 creating my own cassette tapes filled with country music. It's All Good...Until it Ain't...

So, this means I am off to a good start…twice in one week. Haha! So, the last blog post was a cliffhanger, right? LOL It gave you just enough for me to decide what’s next. After writing that post I thought, “where do I go from here?” But I figured it out…so here goes!   All of my 28 years, 10 months and 25 days I have felt and probably been bigger than the average person or what society says is “normal”. My weight fluctuates often I have been a size 5 and I have been a size 16. At this point in my life I am the biggest I have ever been. If you have seen me lately then you know I am a little “THICKUMS” LOL. Over the last year I have told myself “start getting in shape, workout more, eat less, eat better, yadda yadda yadda.” I have started diets and stopped them no sooner than 1 week into it.
